Now you should see this on your screen.

Make sure you are on the IRC Server's tab.

Where it asks for your Full Name, I would suggest you use your real name, but that's only a suggestion.

When it asks for your e-mail address, please use your real e-mail address so if someone wants to send you an e-mail they can.

You may choose any nickname you want; but remember the nick is how people will see you,
so choose carefully.

For an alternative you might want to use a number of shift 6 ^ after your nick. Because there are many people on IRC, sometimes the nick you choose will have been someone else's choice also.
