Posting Your Web Page To The World To post your web pages to the world, you must first put them on NetsCorp's Web Server.Each of NetsCorp's customers has the ability to post their own web page. You will need to use a third party program to write your web page. (For information on web software programs, visit www.tucows.com) Once you have written your page, it will need to be "uploaded" to our server. An "ftp" program such as ws-ftp or Cuteftp is used to upload pages. The following information is needed to upload your pages: Host: www.netscorp.net user name: the same user name as assigned by NetsCorp for connecting to the internet password: the same password assigned by NetsCorp for connecting to the internet Each ftp program is different. Follow the instructions for your specific program to tell you where to fill in the necessary information. Once you have filled in the information, you will need to connect. Once connected, you will normally see a split screen. The left side showing your hard drive, and the right side showing the directory assigned to you on NetsCorp's server. Simply drag and drop the files over to the NetsCorp server on the right hand side. Please note, NetsCorp's servers are case sensitive. If you upload the files in capital letters, they must be accessed in capital letters. To view your web page, open your browser and go to http://www.netscorp.net/~username/ Be sure to replace username with your actual username.
